“One the root, two the loops,“Ekamūlaṁ dvirāvaṭṭaṁ, three the stains, five the spreads,timalaṁ pañcapattharaṁ; and the ocean, the twelfth whirlpool:Samuddaṁ dvādasāvaṭṭaṁ, such is the abyss crossed by the seer.”pātālaṁ atarī isī”ti.
