FettersSaṁyojanasutta

At Sāvatthī.Sāvatthinidānaṁ.

“Mendicants, when these five faculties are developed and cultivated they lead to giving up the fetters.“Pañcimāni, bhikkhave, indriyāni bhāvitāni bahulīkatāni saṁyojanappahānāya saṁvattanti. What five?Katamāni pañca? The faculties of faith, energy, mindfulness, immersion, and wisdom.Saddhindriyaṁ …pe… paññindriyaṁ— When these five faculties are developed and cultivated they lead to giving up the fetters.”imāni kho, bhikkhave, pañcindriyāni bhāvitāni bahulīkatāni saṁyojanappahānāya saṁvattantī”ti.
