He counseled me, the great hero,“Anusāsi mahāvīro, the one who has gone beyond all things.sabbadhammāna pāragū; When I heard his teachingTassāhaṁ dhammaṁ sutvāna, I stayed close by him, mindful.vihāsiṁ santike sato; I’ve attained the three knowledgesTisso vijjā anuppattā, and fulfilled the Buddha’s instructions.kataṁ buddhassa sāsanan”ti.
