Seeing an old person, and one suffering from disease,“Jiṇṇañca disvā dukhitañca byādhitaṁ, and a corpse come to the end of life,Matañca disvā gatamāyusaṅkhayaṁ; I went forth, becoming a wanderer,Tato ahaṁ nikkhamitūna pabbajiṁ, and giving up the pleasures of the senses.Pahāya kāmāni manoramānī”ti.
