Even a master of the three knowledges,“Api ce hoti tevijjo, undefiled, conqueror of death,maccuhāyī anāsavo; is looked down upon for being unknownAppaññātoti naṁ bālā, by ignorant fools.avajānanti ajānatā.

But any individual hereYo ca kho annapānassa, who gets food and drinklābhī hotidha puggalo; is honored by them,Pāpadhammopi ce hoti, even if they are of bad character.so nesaṁ hoti sakkato”ti.
