AbhayāAbhayātherīgāthā

Abhayā, the body is fragile,“Abhaye bhiduro kāyo, yet ordinary people are attached to it.yattha satā puthujjanā; I’ll lay down the body,Nikkhipissāmimaṁ dehaṁ, aware and mindful.sampajānā satīmatī.

Though subject to so many painful things,Bahūhi dukkhadhammehi, I have, through my love of diligence,appamādaratāya me; reached the ending of craving,Taṇhakkhayo anuppatto, and fulfilled the Buddha’s instructions.kataṁ buddhassa sāsanan”ti.
