The Noble PathAriyamaggasutta

“I will teach you the noble path and the ignoble path. …“Ariyamaggañca vo, bhikkhave, dhammaṁ desessāmi anariyamaggañca. And what is the ignoble path?katamo ca, bhikkhave, anariyo maggo? Wrong view, wrong purpose, wrong speech, wrong action, wrong livelihood, wrong effort, wrong mindfulness, wrong immersion, wrong knowledge, and wrong freedom.Micchādiṭṭhi …pe… micchāvimutti— This is called the ignoble path.ayaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, anariyo maggo. And what is the noble path?Katamo ca, bhikkhave, ariyo maggo? Right view, right purpose, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right immersion, right knowledge, and right freedom.Sammādiṭṭhi …pe… sammāvimutti— This is called the noble path.”ayaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, ariyo maggo”ti.
