Bases of Psychic PowerIddhipādasutta

“For insight into greed, four things should be developed.“Rāgassa, bhikkhave, abhiññāya cattāro dhammā bhāvetabbā. What four?Katame cattāro? It’s when a mendicant develops the basis of psychic power that has immersion due to enthusiasm, and active effort.Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu chandasamādhipadhānasaṅkhārasamannāgataṁ iddhipādaṁ bhāveti; They develop the basis of psychic power that has immersion due to energy …vīriyasamādhi …pe… mental development …cittasamādhi …pe… inquiry, and active effort.vīmaṁsāsamādhipadhānasaṅkhārasamannāgataṁ iddhipādaṁ bhāveti. For insight into greed, these four things should be developed.”Rāgassa, bhikkhave, abhiññāya ime cattāro dhammā bhāvetabbā”ti.
