The young monk“Yo have daharo bhikkhu, who is devoted to the teaching of the Buddha,yuñjati buddhasāsane; wakeful while others sleep—Jāgaro sa hi suttesu, his life is not in vain.amoghaṁ tassa jīvitaṁ.

So let the wise devote themselvesTasmā saddhañca sīlañca, to faith, ethical behavior,pasādaṁ dhammadassanaṁ; confidence, and insight into the teaching,Anuyuñjetha medhāvī, remembering the instructions of the Buddhas.saraṁ buddhāna sāsanan”ti.
